Hand Printed Business Cards

Hand Printed Business Cards

Exchanging business cards can be unexciting, but adding a little flair can make it a moment to remember. Grab a handful of your business cards and get to work breaking the ice.

Guide lines
Ready, Steady, Go!

Place the information side of your business cards facing downwards, so it looks like you’re flipping through blank cards.

You:

Looks like I need to print new business cards… these don’t have any of my details.

Lend me your ears

As per the photos, place the card on your fingertips - blank side down – then curl your hand around and push the card out with your thumb.

Show the person how you run it through your hand printer and nothing happens.

You:

Check it out, I’m trying to print some now.

Nothing will happen, just a blank card will be produced.

Seal the Deal and Reveal

When you want to actually ‘print’ the card, place it on your palm instead of fingertips, curl your fingertips inwards and turn over your hand.

You:

Here we go… the printer’s warmed up.

Make a typing motion on the back of your hand as you push the card through your hand with your thumb - the side with the information will ‘print’ out of your hand.

Some extra lines you can try

  • I’ve got to hand it to you, my card that is.
  • Just needed to add a new printer cartridge.
  • That’s one handy contraption.
Alternative ending

Ask them for their business cards and show them how you can print out their cards as well.

You:

If you run low on business cards, just give me a call.

Can you print me some cold cash?

I can probably produce for you an IOU – will that be ok?

Is that what you mean by a hand job?

Hey, this is all above board – keep it clean.

Can you print me a batch of a 100 cards?

Very funny. One at a time until we upgrade the CPU.
